Keeping the inside of the windshield clean can help.

I also find that a lot of the time the street lights aren't working either.

So, when I'm traveling an unfamiliar road with no lights, look out. Plus the head light glare!

This! Don't just "try"; make an appointment and keep it. There are numerous eye conditions that may first manifest themselves with 'night blindness'; don't take any chances.

I take eye supplements that my optometrist suggested, not for night vision, just for overall eye health. My mother had macular degeneration that made her just about blind, and I have the very early signs that glaucoma could be in my future. So I try and do all I can to keep my eye health good.
My night vision has been steadily declining in the past few years. I also live in the country where its two lane roads and no street lights, so it is very dark.

I've had terrible night vision as long as I could remember. I had been wearing glasses since about 8yrs. old. Since then, my vision had steadily decreased over the years. I even try to eat healthy as possible drinking homemade vegetable juice and eating salads. Grrr. sometimes I feel my efforts and money spent have been wasted. My night vision has got worse over the years, wet pavement is the worst making it impossible to see the lines and the glare reflecting off the pavement makes driving nerve wrecking. I hate it. I go to the vision doctor, not even gonna try to spell it lol... every year

I use two different types of eye drops to combat glaucoma = Latanoprost and Cosopt and for my macular degeneration a shot of Avastin (yes in the eye)once every 5 weeks .

Bilberry extract is said to be good for night vision. Read the reviews on Amazon.

There are many that support the eyes, night vision and otherwise. I take 3 specifically for eyes and my major one covers the eyes too.
