Thats good news. I just hope that people who genuinely benefit from these pills will still be able to get them.

This doesnt make sense, Oxycontin was a HUGE cash cow for this company when doctors were giving it out like candy. What industry would willingly allow Govt to come in and regulate one of its most popular products, to the point where its almost impossible to get?

This is especially true since they learned that people were willing to pay 100X the retail price just to get these drugs...now, again, what industry does not take advantage of that?!

I think theres some shady dealings going on behind closed doors, its no coincidence that once addicts could no longer easily get these opiate pills, they all switched to heroin, which can be cut with just about anything on the street, so regulating legal opiates has backfired and actually caused drug related overdose and deaths to skyrocket
