I had been using music from the links below to sleep. Frankly, at all occassions, I have slept soundly, much much better than if I slept with no sound. It has the same effect as when I meditate.

So being that this has a medical effect it's actually the first time I'm seeking out to see if its safe or has any side effects.

Are you afraid they're going to slip in some "devil music" or words recorded backwards or something? Because even so, subliminal marketing has been pretty much disproven as ineffective - I don't think there'd be any impact whatsoever.

People sleep with various sounds all the time. I sleep with the sound of fan.

The only side effect is it relaxes you and helps you sleep better...

..well Renee, I got a bit used to the saying "all that glitters is not gold"

...well, if no side effects whoever invented these sounds needs a major pat on the back.

OP....very nice sounds. A positive influence....I could sleep to this!

Reminds me of Hearts of Space, a radio show and website that offers similar music. There are varying listening experiences, all to do with relaxation and calming effects.
Some are very interesting, using unknown (to me) instruments from around the world.

I listen to it at night, in the dark....also purchased a subscription for the weekly show and a collection of channels.

There are some free albums to listen to on the site.

No side effects here. We've been listening to sleep music for years, find it very relaxing and waking up with less stress.

Personally I've never had any luck with those helping me sleep - I usually end up turning it off after a while because I can't sleep well, if at all, with that stuff going. Just the fan and that's it. I do find, though, that it helps me to concentrate better on very thought-intensive tasks, like doing my income tax (yuck) and crap from work, somewhat equal more or less to light classical.
