You know I swear I read similar data about 20 years ago - there's really nothing new in this article. I tend to think it is mostly bs anyway and the ranking is rather selective and non-useful - it's like the article is supposed to just increase awareness and also shock at the same time.
If you keep yourself healthy via exercise, decent diet, awareness of repetition and potential for injury, and most importantly utilize common sense you could have longevity at any of the listed jobs. Would you want to? Probably not, because the ones they list as most dangerous aren't ones which require college educations nor do they pay the big bucks (relatively speaking).
