I live where is very sunny I have to be on the sun also. Didn’t notice anything until spring and I got a tan I had white vitiligo under my eyes. Now I’m afraid to be in the sun one make it worse or get darker. I’m white but you can see it when I tan. All I read is no cure no hope use coconut oil which I am and steroid cream.

My favorite thing is the beach and the sun and I don’t want have always put on my face lots of sun screen. Any kind of sound advice would be great

You can try that xtrac laser therapy or whatever...some people have luck with that...but yeah...no cure..doctors are useless at curing just about anything, so u just gotta live with it.

It is possible to get some pigmentation back with narrow-band UVB light treatments. This site has a great deal of information including a list of dermatologists who deal with vitiligo. See https://www.vitiligosupport.org/

Some people have also had luck with several topical skin creams such as topical steroids, Protopic, and Dovonex.
