How to deal with a small cut under facial hair? How about pimples? (bleeding, healing)

Suppose I receive a small cut under under my mustache that is about 4mm long, 1mm wide, and 1mm or less deep, and that it was bleeding but that has stopped. In other words it is small. To avoid scarring and promote healing, should I trim or shave, or would that not make a difference?

Also, I occasionally get tiny pimples under facial hair due sugar consumption. I usually pop these. Same question, to avoid scarring and promote healing, should I trim or shave, or would that not make a difference?
