I had two prolotherapy treatments for tendinitis in my elbow years ago, the 2nd one worked. I only had one treatment on my shoulder so far. The Dr said the treatments were different though. The one for the elbow was cheaper ($85) and it costs $200 for my shoulder. I think the one for the elbow was called neural prolotherapy.
Just looked at the message from the D.O. and he called it "hyalgan with prolotherapy". I believe in this work and not giving up on it. If I had not had good results with shoulder and lots with my knee I would not feel the way I do..just too too bad about the infection. I am so aware and so is doc so we shall see when I go back next year.

Priorities, $85 is nothing if it works. My elbow can bother me but not enough to inject. When I think of what americans waste, $85 for healing is cheap.

The strange thing is that it's confined to the left but I'm right-handed. Like to have a $ for every rock, football, and baseball I've thrown. Maybe all that throwing protected against the trauma of weightlifting.
