Recently needed to join the Viagra club, but man that stuff takes a while to kick in. Second time my love got a 1:30am "round two" call. I didn't even take it until midway through round one because I was having some performance issues. Bottle says "take one hour before"..... whose got that sort of time? Do you guys take it an hour or so before "if you think it might happen?". I got the generic, so the cost isn't that bad. Under $19 at Costco for 30 20mg pills with the good Rx card. Need to take 2-3 so at 3 pills it's under $2 per luvin.... at least 10 iterations per bottle so it lasts me a while because of her medical situation. She is usually in too much pain at night to think about boom-boom.

I totally agree. I say to my wife, “Do you think you might feel like (insert pet name for sex) later on?” That is our euphemism for, ‘should I take a viagra tonight?’

For me, it can take up to three hours if I have eaten to kick in.

I hate becoming a mouth breather, (nose stuffed up) side effect. At least you know it’s working, I guess. I tried 3 of the generic for the first time this weekend. I underestimated the time, sinuses started clearing up so I chewed a forth. Seemed to work okay 5 hours after the initial dose of 3.

No headache this time, yeah!

FYI - My DR says that Cialis (the daily one) is set to go generic in September. Maybe that will solve the spontaneity problem. Although, I hate taking drugs everyday for a ‘not everyday problem’.

Viagra is like Disneyland. You wait 2 hours for a 2 minute ride.

I have never tried Viagra.

I had prostate cancer, the surgeon who removed it told me that he had to remove the nerve bundle which included the parts that Viagra works on. So after my surgery, Viagra would never work on me. However they did prescribe for me an injection called 'Trimix' [a mixture of alprostadil, papaverine and phentolamine].

It works pretty well. There is a 20-minute delay after the injection, and the effect lasts between 3 to 5 hours.

No side effects I am aware of.

I have a $12 co-pay which gets us two vials. Each vial is enough for 5 to 6 injections. The vials need to stay frozen until you are ready to use. Once a vial is thawed, it will last about a month if kept refrigerated.

(For those who don't scuba-dive, trimix is a mixture of oxygen, helium and nitrogen; "regular" scuba uses plain compressed air, which is nitrogen + oxygen).

Trimix is a staple for male actors involved in the Southern California porn industry. Shooting a typical porn video may take hours of on and off takes and apparently Trimix can keep an actor up and ready for a considerable amount of time.

I hope you've all done your research on heart conditions and these enhancers. I dd know a man who died while in Viagra clinical trials. I believe he had a heart condition.

Every party needs a pooper... that's why we invited you!
These days you can't eat anything, or drink anything, or breathe anything that won't kill you. You can't even take prescription drugs that don't have side effects worse than the condition that you're taking them for.
