Seems most of us suffer from leaky gut which can cause many illnesses, but that it can be healed with the right foods...I eat fruit every day now as I didnt use to and I drank alcohol which Ive stopped for two years now.. now IM about to try some super yogurts and might even try making my own.. kefir grains are mentioned to make drinks which its said are very good for the gut... bananas, brussel sprouts, pineapple. blueberries. and many more foods are its said good for the gut... Has anyone got good ideas or foods to help..as Ive suffered from severe allergies most of my life. to all chemicals and cant find help.. so I want to do this on my own to make life better...

1. Remove certain foods and factors that damage the gut
It’s essential to remove allergens and inflammatory foods such as un-sprouted grains, added sugar, GMOs, refined oils, synthetic food additives and conventional dairy products. The top toxic exposures to eliminate are tap water, pesticides, NSAIDS and antibiotics — but remember to always consult with your physician if he or she has prescribed these for you. https://draxe.com/leaky-gut-diet-treatment/

good questions as to what to eat, but you might get a better response on the health and wellness thread. There is a lot of debate about what diets work and why.

I think we all do have some tummy problems as we age and yes, diet plays a roll. Neither spoil brat or I have a lot of concerns; we eat fruit, he more than me; lots of veggies, but we also eat some of almost everything. I think moderation and variety are the best way to handle stomach problems or any problems. Of course her are those who, truly are allergic to some foods. That is when a doctor and a nutrition expert enters the picture.

For leaky gut, google GAPS diet. It's supposed to work in two months. Unfortunately, to really cure you, it says it takes two years. You can't eat sugar. I don't know if you get get stevia where you live, but it's a great substitute.

You're just eating a very basic diet with the GAPS diet and I think it eliminates some of the more commonly inflammatory foods. Be prepared to do a lot of cooking for scratch!
