One day I want to buy one of those $300 pillows just to try them out.
Some hotels have wonderful pillows.

All I know is, t-shirts wouldn't cut it for me.

I was in search of the perfect pillow for YEARS and finally found it at The Mirage in Vegas.

Sobel Westex Bella Azure Duo. It has a feather inner core and a down outer core (hence the "duo"). Buy it directly from Sobel Westex as Amazon actually charges more.

Not too pricey either.

I don't need a pillow.
I have a very good spine and, as reported before, am a member of the US Olympic Sleep Team.

Easily. My neck kills me every morning with my pillow. It's too high so I have my neck at the end edge and my head too high...

I use one of those.

It is quite firm, but it still flattens out and needs to be fluffed.

And I use a goose down pillow on top of it.

I really loved latex pillows until I developed a latex allergy. All the tests I had to have done, meds I had to try, because I was waking up wheezing and had a bumpy rash on the side of my face that touches the pillow, and I didn't think about becoming allergic to the pillow. Supposedly the way the latex is processed removes all proteins that could cause allergic reactions, but my body didn't get the memo about that one.

Now I have a hot, miserable pillow that flattens out instantly, but I can breathe while I sleep, so I guess that's good.

This brings up a funny thought for me.
When I met my wife, all of 40 years ago, she slept with no pillow at all. Weird, to be sure.
To this day, she has to have a very thin, if at all-pillow. Her favorite pillow is those little travel sized pillows. They scrunch down into nothingness.
She washes our pillows once a month, and then throws them into a cavernous pit of fire to cook (i.e.: 1500 degree oven/dryer) to kill anything that might survive.
I have no idea what pillow she has for me. I still snore. But she does have me one of those prop-up foam wedges under the pillow-to cut down on the snoring
