Congratulations! With your research and engineering prowess, you can open your own pillow factory and become wealthy beyond your dreams!

Seriously, we have all the pillow types. We have a closet shelf stacked with pillows. Some are soft, some are firm, some are overpriced. I'm a side-sleeper and nothing comes close to My Pillow. It provides support at the edge, where other pillows just taper off.

Sales figures prove I'm not alone.

Ok, but some of us cannot live with a pillow stuffed with tee shirts.

I’ll weigh in. I have a very firm foam pillow that was very hard to get used to, but it supports my neck very well. My dh could not make friends with his, so I gave it to my son, and it works for him.

We love My Pillows! My husband says he never slept better. I have allergies but the My Pillows wash so well. Throw them in the washer and dryer and they come out perfect.

Because I can be comfortable anywhere when I sleep, I usually buy the cheapest pillows available from walmart.com. But, some years back, I saw an ad for buckwheat-husks pillows that piqued my interest and ordered one. That was the only time I was not able to sleep comfortably.

Give me feathers, give me foam, give me a block of cement...but dont give me buckwheat-husks.

For her wedding, my mother received two goose down pillows her mother made. I think those pillows lasted almost 30 years before she got new ones. I remember how nice those pillows were and when I was finally able to afford it (and this was a huge extravagance for me), I got a 100% down (no feathers) pillow and I love it. I don't remember the brand, but I do know I paid almost $300 for it and that was on sale! But it's supposed to be a pillow used worldwide in hotels, so I guess it's pretty good.

I have a difficult time with hard pillows - if my head presses down too long on the same spot, I'll get a headache in that spot. And what's nice about the down pillow is I can scrunch it around to have more support under my neck when I lay on my back.

I just realized that I am still using goose down pillows I bought (a million years ago.) I wash them, then throw them in the dryer with something like a sneaker to bash them around so they don't get flat and matted.

The only other pillows I have are a combination of goose down and feathers. They may be even better because the feathers provide more support and don't flatten so much as pure down.

Growing up, we only had feather pillows but those were sort of hard and didn't loft and puff up like down.

I grew up with feather pillows. My mother made the bed by punching the pillows the long way into a roll and tucking the bedspread under.
I don’t know how old y’all are, but we older people with arthritic necks need firm support.

I've tried feather pillows, but it never fails, the feathers always manage to come through the pillow case and stick me in the cheek. I've even found feathers on the floor the next day.
