So many here talks about where is the science, we don't want opinions...give us the science. Here is some science;

Here is an informative link too on this amyloid plaques:

https://www.healthdiseaseblog.com/20...s-disease.html

I've posted in Alt Med on what I'm counting on to keep me from this dread condition/disease and so far so good. On the amyloid plaque issue.

And I'm not hysterical but I am keeping an awareness and sharing what others can benefit.

And for those who accuse me of being hysterical, spend some time in rehab facilities, I did for 4.5 months and talk about eye opening experience...and then visit the Caregiver's group here...more sad stories.

And to continue to bring up my 1/4 bran muffin that I enjoy, good double grief.

No mention of where the beta-amyloid comes from? From diet obviously, so what kind of diet?

So I google it. There were foods that help lower levels of beta-amyloid and there are foods that increase levels.

7 Foods That Reduce Your Alzheimer’s Risk

Nutrition and Dementia: Foods That May Induce Memory Loss & Increase Alzheimer’s
#1 on this list are "White Foods", White bread, rice, pasta, sugar.

and this backs up some info I've posted before where I say a Ketogenic diet helps with this condition. Of course this study is on mice but it's got to tell you something.
A ketogenic diet reduces amyloid beta 40 and 42 in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease

Plenty more on google

gguerra: thanks for advancing this amyloid issue.

I stopped buying breads and eating pasta before I knew about this amyloid issue...something about my "gut" feeling on stuff I put in my body. I"m not PERFECT but I am for a lot of progress on this note.

Plus I believe, in my case, a lot of dental issues were due to consumption of white foods.
