The fact is that serious adverse effects from the HPV vaccine have not been documented to happen in properly conducted studies from research done around the world.

Australia is on course to wipe out cervical cancer. Note that screening for HPV itself is replacing the Pap smear.

There are risks with anything you put in your body, including the HPV vaccine. Since we’re not allowed to debate here, I can’t really respond so will stop there.

This is about the vaccine now being available for adults. You and your spouse can get the shot along with your kids.

Yep....God forbid modern medicine should continue to push vaccinations which PREVENT disease and in the case of HPV can actually prevent cancer....

What is wrong with that "pro vaccine crowd"???? How dare they keep trying to prevent diseases that ravaged the human race, and to think they are actually promoting a SAFE EFFECTIVE LOW COST method of achieving that goal....

The nerve....

That was my first thought also! With the negative reviews they are trying to expand the market.

What negative reviews? Internet anecdotes do not count.

Thankfully, I am way past the age for this, and still alive. My last Pap Test was in 1983 before I had my children.

Umm, I am not getting into my youth of Sex, Drugs, and Rock N Roll. Pure LUCK that I have managed to live into Old Age without ever increasing vaccines. Superhuman me as one of our medical professional posters likes to say. Sorry, I do not think I am ALONE in this.

I don't know if my daughters will get this vaccine. Both are married, and one to another woman. Ok. medical professionals tell me how married Lesbians are at risk of this? Maybe my now pregnant DIL will catch HPV from her IVF Donor?
