I had a stone in the neck of my gallbladder which caused severe pain in my Lowe back.
I undersurgury yesterday and the gall bladder was removed. But there was no recovery of the stone . Dr said it wasn’t in the gall bladder . So where did go?

Anyway tonight my first night after surgery I on ibuprofen drip and took a narcotic morphine for the pain which was kind of bearable .
At 2:44am I tuned to sleep on my left side and got one on the most severe pain on my right chest where there was an Incision . The pain was so bad that I had to take another injection of narcotic .
I slept on my back for the next 2 hours with no pain but at around 3:50am I Tilted on my left side again during sleep and the pain came back .
No idea why sleeping on the left side is causing this outrageous pain?

Was the surgery laparoscopic or full incision?

If scope, it could be gas pains from the gas that is injected to blow up the belly so that they can cet to your GB. If that's the case, the gas will dissipate in a day or two.

If full incision, could be incisional pain

Not finding the stone happens, it passed before the surgery
