Oh there are nights when I'm up until the sun comes up and there are nights when I can't keep my eyes open at 8pm. I usually sleep only 5 or 6 hours a night with an occasional nap for an hour at 8pm. If you ask me to go to bed at 3am which is usually when I fall asleep, it could take a minute to hours to fall asleep. I'm just a finicky sleeper. My cardiologist is not amused.

typically 30 - 90 minutes. I take Advil sleep every night though. Otherwise I think about 7 to 8 hours.

Almost immediately. Sometimes I sleep through, but most nights I wake up at about 3:30 and toss and turn for a couple of hours. Our dog burrows under the covers, then comes out and shakes his ears, then burrows again, so that’s part of the problem.

Not too long. I usually turn on the tv and set a sleep timer. I'd estimate 10-15 minutes as I never really remember what was playing on tv

About 15 minutes. My issue has never been falling asleep. STAYING asleep is another matter entirely.

An hour, give or take.
We have a very comfortable mattress so I'm content to lie there, let my mind wander, and trust the process.

Now if I could just figure out how to STAY asleep more than 4 hours, I'd be gold.

Normally, less than a minute after turning off the light and hunkering down, usually just a few seconds. . A lot of mornings I wake and don't even remember the interval.
