People individually have different things that get them before they get sick. Sometimes I can tell by the lymphnodes in my armpits (but not in my neck, why?) that a cold is coming.
All you guys......At least you are getting a heads up about getting sick. You have a chance to get your cough drops, tissues, and what every else you need, before you are laid up on the couch.

That's very true, though I've always denied that I'd become ill and would be doing couch time. Me? I don't get sick! I have too much to do.
OP, I've never had ankle ache when I got sick. My father's feet hurt. My back hurt.
Since my childhood days, the first sign that I've caught a cold is when I feel a dull pain in my ankles, as if both were sprained. The following day, a sore throat, and then the other symptoms after that.
Does anyone else experience the ankle pain as an indicator of the onset of a cold?
cold, r.a. You might need zinc.
