I had one removed. I wish I had not. I hate the scar. I was told it was very important who did the surgery as hand surgery is very intricate. I don't recall having pain for a long period of time. The surgery was in 2002 so it's hard to remember.

Has anyone experienced the same? How long did it take you to get rid of all pain?
I had one a long time ago. Kept growing back until the third surgery. The third surgery went deep. Can't remember it too well but I'm pretty sure I had some pain for a couple of months.

I honesty hope it doesn’t come back. But there so many stories about it ...my doctor gave not too many instructions. He said I should give it time and stretch. If I want I can get PT. The scar looks pretty nice. It’s long but he cut in my “wrinkles” so I think as soon as it fades it will be gone.

Surprised how many people have these cysts. I thought it was just me ;-)

They are very common as you now know.

I've found for a lot in my life, leave well enough alone. Often we end up with more trouble than we had before.

Went to the doctor yesterday. I have bad scaring and my scar seems very active. He said I need help and see a PT for my hand. The deep swelling he claims is normal too.

First appointment with „aggressive ROM“ excercises is today. I am nervous to read „aggressive“ on my prescription. LOL
