Yes couple decades ago. But my diet has always been mainly plants. I feel sick if I don't get a good variety. I started to notice it when I traveled and we ate out a lot, I just felt "blah."

Yes, it is common for a lot of people, including those who have had the GB removed, to have trouble with large amounts of fat. I can't really handle too much of anything besides meat, eggs, dairy and fish.........I get quite bloated from grains and vegetables.
