For 2 months I was having cramping, diarrhea or close to it. Sometimes 4 times a day. Dr told me it was IBS. Now 2 months later it’s almost cleared up. The only change was that stopped eating Doritos (one of my favorites) because I noticed that was giving me stomach aches (never did until recently) and also reading ingredients for soybean oil which I noticed sometimes bothered me (but never gave me 2 months of diarrhea). It’s pretty much cleared up except for 1 day last week when I was very worried about something. 1 day of problems is normal for me if I’m under stress....but the 2 months of worrying about being near a bathroom and not remembering what it was like to have a normal BM was concerning. Now it’s back to normal pretty much and the cramping almost gone also. Could it really have been IBS for 2 months?
I think the diagnosis of IBS is = you have digestive problems, but no medical causes of it
So if it were the Doritos, it's not like the Doctor could ever have figured that out.

When I was developing a soy allergy, my first symptom was diarrhea after every meal, usually 15 minutes after I started eating. I didn't realize it was a soy allergy until I started having other allergy symptoms.
