I have a small rash on my chest and face that I have seen a doctor about. He says it's eczema / dermatitis. I keep treating it but it just doesn't go away. I was thinking to get a massage but I wonder if my skin rash would make that awkward for the massage therapist. Should I tell them when I make the appointment? Or is it better just to not get the massage until my skin has cleared up?

Get a massage but likely the skin rash area will be avoided...have you spoken to your MD about oral meds for eczema?

No but I will. We've only talked about skin creams.

I had psoriasis, and would just mention to the masseuse what it was and explain it wasn't contagious.

Yes I figure you just tell them when you make the appt or before you start. Like you it's not anything contagious.
