First when I was born, then at age 4 to have my tonsils out, then as an adult three times to give birth, then three surgeries after that. So a total of 8 times, I think.

When I was born I had to stay in the hospital for 12 days due to hemolytic disease of the newborn, and then I had an overnight stay for a laparoscopic appendectomy when I was 55 or so. So twice.

This answer depends too much on how many kids you'e had (for the women, anyway) and whether any procedures you've had were done recently enough to qualify as "outpatient" - so I'm not sure it means much of anything in terms of actual health.

6 or 7 times. Maybe 8. Gastro intestinal problem. Dizzy fall. Childbirth (we won't count those). No bp. Cardiac bypass. Aortic Valve Replacement. Cardiac Stent placement. Hmmmm...6!

I have a combat injury that requires hospitalization every so often for a few days. So, maybe about 2 dozen times in the last 20 years of my post military adult life.

Overnight? When I was born, ulcer at 23, giving birth at 28, hysterectomy at 34 (3 separate overnight stays due to infections), gall bladder at 31.

I’ve had a slew of outpatient surgeries and ED visits due to chronic issues as well as being a clutz and having won the genetic lottery.
