Please check with your doctor, but I think that any sort of air travel might be bad thing at this time.

I fell 30 feet earlier this month and had one chest tube. Almost had two but the other lung did not collapse completely. My doctors advised me not to fly for at least six weeks. Any thoughts on how to reduce scarring at the site of insertion? Thanks ahead for any thoughts.

I had meninjitis, ARDS, neumonia, and a collapsed lung. Was induced into a coma for one month while on a respirator and had three chest tubes. Lost 40 lbs.
Someone please tell me how to decrease the pain from the 3 chest tubes (removed 3 months ago). Lifting weights in PT made the pain worse as the weights and reps increased, so I had to discontinue building strength in my arms.
