Rarely though would you expect to find a medical miracle working behind the counter of the mall's hobby shop.

I am not surprised at them being able to do this. My son was a burn victim and they took skin from his body, sent it off to a lab and grew him some more (Epicel) of his own skin. If they can do this, why not for other parts of the body?

Finally!! About 20 years ago my dads friends and professor did some research in this field using the electrical current from a battery to regrow a finger. Cool deal : )
