I will give that a try, I forgot to add, Fuzzymystic has been smoke free longer then you and I have, that being said, I have tried to give her a rep point, and it won't let me until I pass more points around, ok I done that and I still can't give her a rep point.
She has been stuck on 16 reps for along time, is there something wrong or what??? I told her through a pm last night I would have some of you give it a try to see if she would get any rep points, so here goes, she has given up smoking for at least a month so what does everyone say, does she need a point???? I say yes!!!!!! Lets see if we can just give her a few to let her know we support her!!!! Thanks, everyone!!!!!

GEEEEE WHIZZZZZ
It won't even let me give you any extra rep points yet Poprocks, how many do I have to spread out before it will let me give you one??????
I would have thought, after giving out ten to twenty, I could go back and give some of my close friends another one!!!! I guess not!!!! Just so you know I give you a rep point everyday, you just don't see it.

Yorkie, Fuzzy, Pops, Qbaby.....
I've been reading your diaries and I'm almost at the point where you guys are going to make me quit too!!!
I am so happy for you. And you are so enthusiastic. It really is something else isn't it? Let's see if I can pop the news and join you in a few days. In the meantime, I will gladly give you all rep points too!

Just wanted to say "good job" to those of you hanging in there.
Also, I saw the post about money. Have you thought about creating a jar or can and "paying yourself" every time you *would have* run out to buy a carton or box of cigarettes?
You could then reward yourself at the end of the week/month/quarter.
Keep up the good work all!

That is a great idea, it sure wouldn't take that long to be able to buy a new car. Now if I could get hubby to give me the money!!!!!
It is so good to hear we have people out there, that are so interested in how we are doing, you guys are great!!!!! If and when you all want to quit, like I have always said, we will be here for you, through the best and worst of it all!!!!
It is always good to hear about some of the crazy things that we go through, and the good along with the bad, that way you will all know that you are normal when you decide to quit. I hope we can get more followers on this thread, it will make my life complete!!!!!
What do you all say guys!!!!! Like Poprocksncoke stated before THE COOL KIDS ARE ALL DOING IT!!!! LETS GIVE IT A TRY AND BE WITH US COOL PEOPLE!!!!! I will keep you all posted!!!!

I'm still here, doing well ! Not completely smoke free but working hard at it. I had one last night . Even though I haven't totally conquered it, I feel I am making great improvements. It is such a beautiful day out today, I plan on spending the afternoon out raking my yard and letting my dogs run!
Keep up the good work guys !!!

Even though I am a health freak - the one thing that has stuck to me and I haven't been able to shake are cigarettes. I don't smoke that much - of course I have my days or situations where it is more - but on average a pack will last me 3-4 days.
I have come to the conclusion I can't stop - because I won't stop. My personality, the way I tend to be - I can talk myself into and out of just about anything, and when it comes to quitting - it's like I am afraid to throw them out. As if they 'complete me'. (corny, I know)
I think if I concentrate hard enough and apply the same brain thing I do with other issues - really bad depressed days, Fibro flares, etc. - I could do it. I guess I just haven't DONE it yet.
I do know many people who have had success with the gum and now the mint type things. The patch never helped me at all - but your system may be different.
Good luck - I know you can do it, in whatever way you choose -just don't give up.

Good job Qbaby, I am proud of you no matter what!!!! You haven't given up and that is the main thing.
I find it most difficult like around 6pm and until I go to bed, the morning and afternoon seem to fly by, from the time I take my child to school, until I have to go and pick her up.
Maybe the nights seem more stressful, I know my husband likes to fight with our daughter, like a two year old, but in time I will be able to make it through the evenings like I do the rest of the day.
I don't know if everyone else feels the same, but these are just my thoughts. I have been running around here febreezing everything, but I think it will take a while to get all the smell out.
KEEP IT GOING QBABY, I GOT YOUR BACK!!!! TAKE CARE!!!!!!
