I do take a short nap in the day just to get over the tired feeling, after that I am good to go, and have no cravings, I also get on my health walker every night for 45 minutes for now, but I will add more time on as I stay smoke free.
This forum is the best, it has helped many of us get through some tuff times, and has helped so many others understand we are normal people, and just out to support the ones that need it, pick people up when they are down, and just have some one to relate to when the need arises. Poprocksncoke, just wondering why you don't become a Moderator, I think you would be good, plus you are on here a lot, so just checking???? I am still doing great with not smoking, I have a weakness for chedder cheese chex mix, at least I shouldn't put on to much weight with snacking on them, I hope............

What I think is a really good snack, chex-mix wise, is the honey-nut [sweet/salty] with some honey-roasted peanuts added to it. This is sooo good, but once I start on it, I have a terrible time putting it down! This was also the case before I stopped smoking [on December 12th]. Plus, it's like I have chex-mix radar or something; my husband will buy a bag and take it out to the garage, I walk in there and zoom in on that baby like a heat-seeking missile! And when chex-mix is on sale at our grocery store-stay out of my way!!!

Since New Years eve.
Well, I attempted to smoke like 2 weeks ago. took one drag (I don't even think I inhaled) and I threw it out. Tasted disgusting.

A Moderator keeps track of certain boards, for spam, and keeping it under control etc. I think you would be good at it, you could pick your state to watch, and yeah, I would take any type of chex mix that was in front of me, they have a new flavor out right now and I wonder what it would taste like, I thought of picking up a bag, it was a Hawaiian something I think, it might be interesting. If I get to the store I will let you know how it is. I am still smoke free, bring on the chex mix!!!!!

I saw that Tropical Chex mix...had bananas and pineapples in it. But it had almonds.. I am not an almonds fan. Oooh, eat out all the almonds and mail me the rest? Ok thanks!!

Well I got to the store, picked up at least two of every flavor, I haven't tried the tropical flavor yet, I will do that some time today and let you know. I was thinking of giving the almonds to the husband, he is a nut anyways.
I could not believe how many different kinds they had out there, by the way, they were out of the peanut butter ones, so I will have to wait to try them next time around.
So Poprocksncoke ready to become a Mod???? Just wondering, I would put a good word in for you. It really is interesting, and I have enjoyed it so far, besides it is below zero here and I would rather be cozy in here then outside, if you know what I mean. Still smoke free, although when I came out from the store last night, I was in my mode of thinking that I still smoked, and so I got into my car, looked around, and realized I didn't smoke and had no cigarettes, so I just decided to get a piece of gum out of my purse instead, yeah for me.
I think the devil sneaks up at times you don't expect him to, and he tries to catch you off gaurd, I hope I can keep on telling him to back off and go and bug some one else. So I guess I am still going, and still good!!!!! My birthday is on the 11th so it won't be long, and once I get past that well then I should be able to make it!!!!! I just hope it warms up in this state by then.

Good for you!!! I did that the first couple days... get in my car and roll down the window and reach for my smokes before the car was even started. then I just kinda stopped and remembered that I don't do that mess anymore
