I got my 1st shot Friday, felt no issues (ok very slight soreness, for an hour).

I am getting my next shot Friday 4/2. I was planning on going on a snowboard trip that weekend, but I have heard about side effects being worse on the 2nd shot.

So, how should I plan post 2nd shot? Life as normal or expect to be sick, plan to lay low for 24/48/72 hours?

I am a 37 year old male.

Read this thread: https://www.city-data.com/forum/heal...cine-side.html

You'll see that people's reactions to their shots are all over the map -- some people report no reaction of any kind, some people report feeling very sick for a couple of days. No one can predict what your reaction (if any) will be, but the prudent course to take is to plan nothing for a day or so after your second shot.

And, BTW, it's spelled Pfizer, in case you need to look it up.

Pretty simple. The day you are suppose to leave and go snowboarding. If you feel fine, go. If you do not stay home. No one can predict how you will feel that day.

Me? Personally, I would (and did) leave 2 days free after the first AND 2nd shot, coming up Mar 25.
I know a healthy male that had a 104 fever the day after the 2nd shot,
but his overweight, diabetic wife? Nothing.

Thanks.
So would it be fair to say if the shot is Friday afternoon, Sunday should be enough time to have developed an effect and recovered or not?

Based on what I've read of most people's experience, probably yes.

We got our second shot on a Friday, and Saturday was the only day with fever and pain, by Sunday morning we were fine (late 60s).

I'd say move your snow stuff to Mar.27-28 instead. Plan on being a bit more sore on the 2nd shot. (Try to have it put into your other arm.) This way, you'll be balanced! (Balance is imperative in the snowboarding world. LOL)

Really, I'd say go snowboarding prior to your 2nd shot. Even if you have minimal reaction, you'll want to be your best when attacking the 5 black diamond runs.
