Default Post surgical chest pain

Several months ago I had lung surgery to remove a cavitated lesion (wedge incision) from my lung. This condition was due to Valley Fever. This last week the pain and discomfort has increased signifcantly. There is increasing tightness and pressure in my right chest. Dr. will not prescribed any more pain killer. Discomfort is now 24X7. Anyone out there had similar surgery or post operative recovery pain? Any home advice, therapy, or home remedies will be considered.

I tell all my patients upon discharge from the hospital ( after any surgery)

If any pain gets worse , call the doctor.
If he just 'blew you off'
I'd go to urgent care or the ER and ask for a chest x-ray..

somethings up...
you really shouldnt have any pain getting worse than immediately after surgery pain.

Good Luck
