Just had a Moderna booster late this afternoon and am waiting for potential side effects to kick in. Not much so far. A little soreness in the injection arm is all.

Did you get side effects from your booster? How long did they take to come on?

Nope. No side effects here. My husband was down and out after about 24 hours though. Lasted about a day if I recall.

I just got my Moderna booster yesterday around lunch and I had side effects very similar to my second shot, which I had 8 months ago. I was hoping that since the Moderna booster is a half dose, the effects would be less, but that was not the case for me.

My side effects started about 5 hours post shot with arm soreness and by bedtime I had moderate muscle aches, chills and a mild headache. No fever.

Felt crummy for about 22-24 hours total.

Brother and I both had Moderna...I had one day of side effects after 2nd shot that were gone the next day (brother had no side effects). We both had no side effects after boosters recently given as well.

I got the Moderna booster Tuesday morning. That night I was very tired and had bad chills going up and down my arms. Next day still pretty tired with a headache. Next day not quite as tired but pretty bad headache. Arm pain at the beginning but getting better each day. Swollen and somewhat painful underarm on side of injection for first two days.

Well, here I am up at 5:30am due to side effects: Entire upper arm where I had the injection is very sore — even my armpit is aching; headache; malaise. No fever though. Hopefully will be through soon …

Also, not as bad as the Shingles vaccine. I had a 103 fever and was sick for three days after that one.

ETA: Ok, now I am getting chills …

Had mine a couple of weeks ago. Sore injection spot for a day, that's it.

Shingles vaccine one did me in for months. Couldn't get the 2nd because I was allergic to it.

I'm not getting a booster. Not chancing my luck. I had to get J&J when my daughter was exposed. I won't push my luck due to potential allergy.
