Dr said it might take several tries to finally work. Still might have to be repeated in future, but I'm OK with that

I don't think it's meant to be a cure. I've had it (RFA)done twice. The first time, it gave a good reduction in pain. Then I was felling even better for a couple months. Then it got bad again. Second time, helped well for a time, then too much pain again. Don't know. Maybe reinjury happens.

Numbness is usually caused by a pinched nerve. Ask your doctor about cortisone shots for that area.

heres my 2 cents...the injections deadens the nerves, you feel no pain or very little so you exert yourself more and do more then you did before, but when the nerves rejuvinate, the pain is worse, due to the stress you put on them? Does that make sense?

funny but it's not numb all the time, it hurts but if I lay down the wrong way after a while it goes numb, but you can touch the area in different spots and it hurts to the touch? Crazy????
