Hi all- Usually evrery spring/early summer, I use Patanol eyedrops. They help my mild itching/burning a lot. Problem is at $40 a small bottle that can get expensive, plus I think it's only by prescription. some one once told me about an over-thecounter eyedrop that was agood sub for Patanol, but I lost the card it was written on. Does anyone else use Patanol, and do they know what OTC drops might work almost as well? Thanks
I use the once a day drop pataday--I think it's an upgrade of patonol. There is one eye drop that's homeopathic called Similasan. I have gotten a lot of relief with it, too. I wear contacts and it's okay to use with the contacts.
Good luck, freaking insurance companies suck and presriptions are ridiclously over-priced. It is amazing that after I pay for insurance for three years, never use it, and now for the first time that I need it. I am not only charged a deductable, but also a co-pay, and all of this is on top of the regular deductions from my paycheck every week. What the hell am I paying for? I have to stop tying now, so I can administer my thousand dollar eyedrops and inhale some thousand dollar nasal spray. Thanks a million to the state of American healthcare!!!
