So I am going to start with a one day detox this weekend and see how that goes hoping to eventually work up to a 4 or 5 day toxin detox. Wondering if anyone else has done this and what fruits/veggies worked best for you?

I have a home detox book that list alot of veggies but since I just doing one day I don't want to buy a ton of stuff. Just the ones with the most cleansing power? Also, did you drink any juices or stick to water? I have a Yogi Detox tea that I was thinking of drinking plus I have organic cranberry nectar.

I'd suggest raw broccoli, especially the flower part for a good internal scrubbing.

most greens, including kale or mustard greens. spirulina and wheat grasses are good. pretty much what Sgoldie said: stay RAW as possible. the less the body has to use energy for digestion, the more it can donate to assisting you in the detox process.

this was on the Care2.com website about good herbs for detox:

Certain needs call for certain veggies.

Any health concerns you have? Like stiff joints etc?
