Why do drug companies advertise on TV?

Why do companies or "sales rep work-at-home professionals" try to sell me, via email, male enhancement pills and "load" enchancement pills? I keep putting them to block sender and they keep showing up in some other form. Now this is my work email, and I have many sources of email that come to me including "technical" and some "sales". But how much time are they wasting on this? Who buys these drugs online?

Actually, most spam mail (including ones for those 'male enhancement pills') are sent by botnets. Botnets are a network of thousands of computers remotely controlled by malware. Most of the time their owners don't even suspect they're infected.

Because they can, and because the pharmaceutical industry is all about $$$ these days.

Could it be that the drug companies just want to perpetuate the myth that is becomming so prevalent, particularly in older people? The idea that drugs are the only recourse available to them? That they have no influence on what is happening with aging? In fact, the exact opposite is true, but people just seem to be resigned to believe that they can't do anything about it. I talk to a lot of people about health and it's just so sad to see that.

Sell them life, in a pill.

Sell them better sex, in a pill.

Sell them peace of mind, in a pill.

Sell them self-esteem, in a pill.

Sell them Security, in a pill.

Sell them Ambition, in a pill.

Sell them happiness, in a pill.

Sell them well-behaved children, in a pill.


Granted, not all Western Medicine is bad or worthless.

There is a time and a place for certain things. But if there is a pill for any of the above without the nasty side-effects, spam me sometime.
