Yes, all those chemicals and sodium in diet soda cause bloat. Stop drinking those and you'll drop pounds of water weight right away. You look less puffy and feel lighter on your feet. Your skin will probably sow some improvement too. You wouldn't regret it health and weight-wise.

Diet Coke has 1mg of sodium per can. Regardless of the other issues, sodium in diet cola isn't usually a problem.

Hmmm...their website says 28 mgs per 8 ounces. That's 42 mgs per can.

My mistake, I was looking on a calorie counting page that obviously wasn't accurate. But even at 42mg, that's still nothing to worry about. For a comparison, here's some other food:

1 cup of 1% milk: 120mg
1 slice 100% whole wheat bread: 160mg
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese: 400mg
1 cinnamon raisin bagel: 440mg
