I think I will be treating my good friend to a day at the spa to get spoiled for his & my b-days in January. For those familiar with spa services, what would be a good treatment selection? I can splurge a little, but not made of money, so will have to pick and choose what we get. I do like the idea of a couples massage. The spa I'm seriously considering for the occasion has the following:
  • Therapeutic Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Relaxation Massage
  • Pregnancy Massage
  • LaStone Massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Couples Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Reiki Massage
  • Neuromuscular Massage
  • Reflexology
  • Refresh the Spirit Body Wrap

Not that I have experienced any spa anything, but I'd skip the stone massage.

The hot/warm rocks feel good, but I think you'd get more for your money with any of the other massages.

With the hot rocks, they place them and leave them for 20 minutes or so to warm you up. That's 20 minutes or so that you could have been getting massaged.

My sister is a massage therapist, and have experienced the warm rocks, which feel good. But would prefer massage time over some warm rocks.

They're good when someone comes in from skiing or the cold.
