Another good study by the Journal of American College of Cardiology showing that those with the lowest levels of Vit-D showed the highest in Hypertension, Diabete's, Obesity, Stroke and Conjestive Heart Failure.

Just remember you want the D-3 or Cholecalciferol form. Not the typical D-1 that's in dairy or most supplements.

Unusually low vitamin D is also usually found in people who have thyroid problems and/or depression. I had to take weekly doses of 50,000 IU (from a prescription) in order to get mine back to normal.

Thanks to my climate for the most part, and other factors, much I have very low Vitamin D levels. However blood test reveal I have next to no chance of hypertension (LOL), Diabetees, obesity, heart failure or stroke. I'm thin as a rake with low blood pressure and a very fit heart.

So I guess it's the "lies, damned lies and statistics" phrase again.
