I am planning to have breast augmentation 28th December. However i have had to go to the breast clinic to get a lump checked in the meantime. It has been confirmed that it is a Fibroardenoma and that it should be removed before my implants are fitted. I am really stressing out about it as my op is in about 3 weeks time and its all paid for and everything!!

Does anybody know if a plastic surgeon can remove a fibroardenoma at the same time as augmentaion??

I know that my plastic surgeon, who just did a breast reduction on me last week, would not remove a fibroadenoma. You should give your plastic surgeon a call and ask. If s/he won't, you may need to postpone your augmentation because the plastic surgeon may want your breasts to be healed before he operates again. Sorry! Good luck with both of these things!
