Default Helpful alternative Treatments

I lost my wife to metastasized breast cancer, and my children and I remember all of the suffering she went through, and all of the strength she had. There were a few products that actually aided in the relief, or slowing of the cancer, or relief from the treatments. It was hit or miss. We didn't know what we needed, or what worked. There was a lot of stuff we didn't need, but bought because we didn't know.

It would have been nice to have a source of information on products that really helped. It cost a lot of money for us trying to do whatever we could if we thought it might help.

Have any of you ever tried to compare notes to find what works for some and put the good information in a spreadsheet or database to help each other? It would be nice to be able to get information like that. It could be a lot less confusing for others in the future..
