For many years, when I don't get enough sleep or have a very stressful day I get a pain in my chest.

It is not a gripping pain, per se. It feels more like a tooth ache - in my chest if that makes any sense.

And yes it is in the "heart" area, and yes, my family does have a history of heart issues and no, I'm not going to go get a jillion tests to see what it is.

I'm just wondering if anyone else ever had this (there's an awful lot of people on here, you know). And if so, what happened if you found out what it was or not.

Night everybody. See you tomorrow (hopefully, )

When I am stressed out, I get a pain in the right side of my head. I've attributed it to a muscle spasm of some sort... could it be the same type of thing for you? I have had pain my chest before from tight/pulled muscles in my back. Though I probably would go for an echocardiogram (which is non invasive) just to be sure, considering your family history.

What Is Angina?

You should go in for a stress test. Unless you want to wait for "the big one" as red foxx would chatter about.

Could it be anxiety attacks? But I would have it checked.

How is your blood pressure? I also agree with a stress test.
