At this very moment(I might be watching something else later), I am watching the first Karate Kid. One thing that seems to strike me is that the actor playing Daniel Larusso appears to be 14 years old(even his voice makes it seem like that). In reality, Ralph Macchio was 22 when he was in this film. I always wondered about the fountain of youth affect on the body, even on me. I am 22 myself and some people still say I look 16.

Wow! no answers.

Ralph Macchio isn't the only one. Leonard Roberts(from Drumline) is 36 and he still looks under 30.

It all starts to change at 30 .

However if you take certain precautions you'll hold up well and that is definately no drugs or smokes. Try not to drink much alcohol past 25 to protect your liver as it's vital in the aging factor. Wear sunscreen if you burn easy (I don't ) and try not to eat alot of high calories or junk foods as this speeds up aging (although i know it's hard at times) and take some good antioxidents thru out your life like Vit-C and Vit-E and lots of purpleish foods like grapes, plums, red cabbage, apples, bkueberries and blackberries, pomegranates and always have olive oil with your meals and you'll do well.

Lastly always try to have fun and be happy as that's a common trait in centenarians (100 years or older humans).

I drink alot of green tea. I like to go outside when it's cloudy or raining. I'm 22(I turn 23 in April) and some people have told me I still look 16. Strangely enough, a 17 year-old girl told me I looked about 16 or 17. It is kind of weird with my parents. My mother is 47 going on 48 and she still looks like she's in her mid 30's. My father is 54 and will be 55 this year. He still looks like he is in his mid 40's. Actually, my parents have never looked that old to me.

I plan to keep drinking green tea the rest of my life. I don't drink very often(although I have a high propensity to get drunk each time I drink). I do plan to make 90 at least.

What amazes me is that some people can look(and sometimes sound)freakishly young. Ralph Macchio is one of those people. He is 47 now, but he could still pass for a man in his 30's. When he was in all of the Karate Kid films, I swear he never looked older than 16(even at age 28) and what really set it off was his voice. He was 21 in The Outsiders, but he looked 12 to me because of his voice in combination with his boyish features.

physical aging is genetic and not much you can do to stop it since this is how mother nature designed all living things.

however you can prevent further acceleration as 6/3 said by lifestyle choices. NO drinking, smoking cigarettes, or eating junk food.

I hope so. I have friends tell me that I'll appreciate looking extremely young when I turn 40. Green tea is just part of it for me. I also hear that it's good for your skin, if you put some on your skin.

People sometimes still call me a baby, and I'll be 30 this summer.
