Default Mercury, testoserone and autism

I meant testosterone

I know, another autism thread.

But this one is good. I'm taking a genetics and mol bio class and this topic has come up.

My prof is actually part of a team of doctors studying this right now.

It makes alot more sense than blatently saying "vaccines cause autism."

This is a bit more specific. I do have to say it is a pretty good explanation. Especially since autism DOES occur more often in boys.

Check it out

Very interesting, and thanks for sharing. My son had surgery when he was 7 months old, and part of his preparation was a shot of testosterone. He had his ADOS assessment today we will be getting the results on Monday, so your post makes me wonder. Hmmmm.....what if? I will be keeping tabs on this research from now on. Thanks again!

Bring it on More public awareness is needed and there is a lot of misinformation and skepticism to conquer. At least some folks are looking into the topic and offering more than idle criticism.

How metals in food impact children's behaviour

Heavy metals knock out several essential minerals, interfere with methionine-cysteine metabolism, affect protein deamination, and cause damage to the liver, kidneys, and pancreas, leading to a host of problems.
