Default Plastic Surgery and Internet Searches

This is a question for anyone who has had - or has considered having plastic surgery. How did you find your plastic surgeon? Did you use the internet? Did you search ("Google him/her") by geographic region or by specific procedure?

Even if you find someone online, do try and get recommendations from former patients--and not necessarily those the Dr. tells you to talk to!
Ask folks you know if THEY know of a good plastic surgeon. Word of mouth is the best way! Anyone can have a website!

Check out a website called makemeheal dot com. While this wouldn't be a good place to find a plastic surgeon (though people do name names,) you can find out just about everything you'd want to know there. Every different type of plastic surgery is there. And very helpful forums. Good luck!
