I am a mom of a daughter who will be 8 in a few weeks. She has been diagnosed with trichotillomania. It seems like no matter what I try with her it doesn't work. Her father and I have been divorced for 5 years. He keeps saying that she is doing it because of what is going on in my house. He is saying he is going to take me to court to get custody of my children. He yells and screams at me constantly on the phone (which the kids can hear because he is so loud) and in front of them at pick-up and drop-off times. My daughter says she doesn't want to go to her dad's anymore but of course I have to make her go due to court rules. She says he does nothing but yell and scream at them when they are there. I feel completely helpless at this point and don't know what to do.
