Default Medic Alert bracelet

If you have a medical condition that requires such a thing, do you have one? Do you wear it?

I have Epilepsy and I never used to wear anything that signified that fact.

I started back in 2000. October of last year is the first time that bracelet came into play for me.

I figured if I was going to wear one, I would at least wear one that looked good. That is what I did. I got a nice one, put out 200 bucks for it.

October 25 of last year I was found on the ground in a parking lot and the EMTs were able to know that I did, in fact, have Epilepsy.

Other than the fact that some onlookers witnessed the seizure, which was way before they got there, they had the bracelet to go by. I was someone with a history of Epilepsy, not someone who had a seizure for the very first time.

I could not respond to their questions, but at least they had some pertinent information to go by.....
