Olive oil has many different polyphenols that are unique componds that protect us from heart disease, stroke, cancer and premature aging etc. Scientists at the University of Porto in Portugal reporting in the Journal of Molecular Nutrition and Food Research that the polyphenol DHPEA-EDA is the most powerful of them all as it protects red blood cells and our arteries even in low concentrations.

I always take 2 tbsps at a time on an empty stomach before my meals and even rub it on my face and arms .

Good stuff. Another great oil that has not been discussed here is macadamia nut oil. Very high in monounsaturated fat. I found macadamia nut oil infused with coconut/palm oils and vanilla. Absolutely amazing taste.

6 foot 3,thanks for the great info! I often have 2 teaspoons on my toast in the morning.

Oh no problem Villiage Life.

I just got back from playing basketball in the hot sun at the park and so i just swallowed 2 tbsps of it with some green tea so those polyphenols make their way to my skin cells and protect me .
