Yesterday, while playing tennis (I'm not very good), I turned my neck too fast to the left, and then felt a bizarre pain on the back of my head on the right side. It felt like my brain crashing into my head. It lasted for about 5 seconds, then it felt tingly for a few minutes, and then since then, no pain. What caused this??? When it happened I though it was a stroke, but obviously it wasn't because none of the symptoms were there.

I know what you mean OP. I've always just thought it was just a bone cracking similar to cracking your knuckles. My daughter has this thing she does to reposition her neck and I suppose its quite similar to what happened to you. I don't have any idea if this movement is something to be concerned about; we've never asked a doctor about it.
