Well this one out of the University of Basque Country, Spain using rats with non alcohol fatty liver disease (Hepatic Steatosis) and placed them on different diets and the ones given 10 mg of Resveratrol daily (a compound found in Red Wine) after 4 weeks saw significant improvement in their fatty liver.

Break out the Cabernet Sauvignon .

HUH? What about all the studies that say no more than 1 glass of wine per day should be consumed? Let's face it. Except for a VERY FEW conventional medical doctors at www.pcrm.org
they are all pretty clueless about what constitutes healthful eating. They only know about what they were trained in in medical school which was to treat symptoms of problems and help people live longer with their DISEASE. HEALTH was not a part of the curriculum because HEALTH and CURE ares not PROFITABLE.
Whereas nursing someone along for the rest of their lives with drugs IS EXTREMELY PROFITABLE.

What get's me is that she didn't even read the posted link as it stated they gave 10 mg of Resveratrol powder i.e. the equivilant of 2 glasses of red wine daily as the article stated . No alcohol in the study.

As for a prescription for Red Wine ....it's called our Drivers License .

Why are you picking on real doctors when they are the ones with real evidence and not pseudoscience?
You should only drink one glass a day because of the alcohol.
Also you don't need to drink any red wine since resveratrol is found in grapes, drinking grapes juice is better.
