Any Believers in Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar?
I was having some trouble with blocked sinuses and read online in a few places that apple cider vinegar might help. I had 4 tsps. of Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar and later that day was feeling much better. Since then I have been drinking some of this vinegar in my water every day. It could be that feeling better and the vinegar were related, but maybe not. Is there anyone that uses this product on a regular basis that feels it improves their health? According to the manufacturer of this product, apple cider vinegar is supposed to be "cleansing, healing and energizing."

Thanks so much, LadyRobyn, that thread was helpful! I'm still not sure is ACV is "for real" or not, but I think I will stick with it for now and see what happens....

Yes I use Bragg's for 'acid reflux'/that too full a feeling ....in that I believe I suffer from too LITTLE acid not too much. Tums or Maalox seems to almost have me foaming at the mouth!
A couple of teaspoons in about 8 oz./1 cup of water at the first sign of distress and usually within 30 mins. I feel better and will sleep better too. You can stir in some honey too, but now I just toss it back like a shot!
The Braggs is much better than regular IMHO. And there is so much it is good for. There is much wisdom in old 'folk' remedies. And the vinegar can't really hurt you the way some scripts can.
Good luck! Oh you, might try rinsing your sinuses. You can google it ... Neti pots are popular, but I just mix up some mild warm salt water, pour in my palm, use the other hand to hold one nostril close and gently snort it up, then switch & back & forth a few times. ( it kinda runs back out your mouth/nose) Sounds gross but it really helps!
PS I want to add that if one does have too much acid , you won't get relief from the vinegar- you should be able to tell pretty easy if you get relief...

Haven't witnessed anything in relation to sinuses but that could be! Apple cider vinegar is great for heartburn and acid reflux for sure.

So the answer to the question " What Research Really says about Apple Cider Vinegar?"......not much.....
Also from the same Mercola propaganda, the link to WebMD had this to say about Apple Cider Vinegar...
"Right now, there is not enough evidence that apple cider vinegar -- or any vinegar -- has any health benefit for any condition. Since the benefits are unknown, so are the risks."
Apple Cider Vinegar
Interesting that the "writer" at Mercola would use this very link to somehow bolster her case when in fact it undermines the whole thing

I have, can't quite put my finger on it, I did it because my grand-mother used to do this and i never seen her go to a doctor and she died peacefully after living a long life in her
in her sleep, so for whatever it's worth, i have noticed a difference in a lot of ways
when I take it, it didn't take away my sinus headache today though, (the rain did when it finally started), I understand that it has cider vinegar has many health benefits, too many to mention right now.(trying to read most of these threads)
I imagine it will vary in each individual
