Healthy Heart Rate??
I had my bloodpressure, etc taken by a friend who is now more aware..
Of these issues after a serious medical problem.
Everything checked out ok but my heart-rate was 96 after a 20 min walk..
And 66 normal rate. That seems pretty high, how bad is that?
I cant afford a doc visit at the moment.

anything under 100 is normal as I understand it from an EMT. Sounds good for a 20-min walk.

The more fit you are, the lower your resting heart rate will be. There is some debate on what exactly is a healthy resting heart rate. What most consider healthy for a man is between 60 and 75 beats per minute and for women it should be between 60 and 80 beats per minute.
People who are extremely fit and active, such as professional athletes, can have a resting heart rate as low as 30 beats per minute.
I think yours sounds fine.

I was a little concerned because the rate after a walk was so much higher.
Thanks All
