my daughter is feeling dizzy and light headed after having the tb test. She is scheduled to have another next week. Is she having a bad reaction? She needs to have two tests to work in a hospital. Is it dangerous to have two tests so close together?
What health risks are there if your employer makes you take tge TB test four times in one month
Even after reading it within 48hrs after each time and it being neg.?

Why would the person giving the test even agree to do it that frequently?
Yes ditto on the weird 104 fever after the APLISOL test that lasted 3 days and then subsided. Followed by an all-over-body guttate psoriasis that subsided after 2 months. Followed by an all over nose and scalp seborrheic dermatitis that lasted 3 months. Followed by severe fatigue, sweats, aches and pains for the past 5 months, and other weird DEPRESSED IMMUNITY symptoms. That Tween 80 Polysorbate and Phenol and whatever else magic ingredient can wreak HAVOC in the blood. 35% solution? That's more than enough of a chemical not known to human immune system. Even 1% is too much. Also TWEEN 80 is a known ingredient in GARDASIL a useless vaccine in case any moms out there are reading this. You DON'T want your daughter to be 'one less'. God Bless
Reading these posts convinced me of what I had already suspected - that my joint pain and ear ache had something to do with the TB test! Thank God for blogs!!
Do you mean 'A reaction' ? An inflammation of the area subjected to the TB tine test?
If that happened in the US, then either you're just going to die or be prohibited from feeding anybody.
If it had happened in the UK, then you would have been given a 'BCG' vaccination (which makes pretty impressive scars)
You wouldn't have died, nor would you have contracted TB but you would be permanently forbidden from selling wormburgers or other delectables at any fast-food outlet in the US.

The OP referred to adverse side effects from the test, specifically not just a positive test.
In the US, if you have a positive test you will be further evaluated and then treated appropriately.
In the UK, if you have a positive test you will not be given BCG. A positive test is a contraindication to BCG. You will be further evaluated and then treated appropriately, just as in the US. BCG is not used in the US because the incidence of tuberculosis is so low. The target population in countries that use it is children, as it is not as effective in adults. It is no longer routinely used in the UK.
The skin test can pick up latent tuberculosis, which is not communicable, and active tuberculosis, which is not. Treatment can prevent someone with latent disease from developing active disease. Someone with latent disease will have no restrictions on activity. Someone with active disease should stay home for the first few weeks of treatment.
Neither group would be permanently barred from food service jobs, fast food or not.
I am feeling body aches, head aches and really tired and i had a TB test today. I have had TB test before and never had this reaction before.
