Has anyone had their wisdom teeth removed?
I'm going to have mine removed tomorrow. Has anyone had painful experiences with their wisdoms being removed or was the surgery okay?

All I remember about it was when the IV started. I felt a warm feeling rushing up from my toes and the last thing I remember saying was, "I'd like a bottle of that to take home."

I was going to have my top two removed, but while I was under my mom just had the dentist remove all four! You'll be glad to get it done because my wisdom teeth hurt!
And don't worry yourself! This is a very safe thing that pretty much everyone gets done once in their lives. Be glad we live in the days of pain medication!

I had local anesthetic only and it was fine. The fear and the pain before was much worse that the actual procedure.

Mine weren't in the right position so I needed surgery and pain killers for a few days, but nothing terrible. Heaven compared to the previous pain. You'll be fine

One of my wisdom teeth is in my upper gum to the far right. Will they have to cut part of my face to get it out or what are they going to do?

They will not cut any part of your face. The can get to your wisdom teeth just fine.

Had them removed under general anesthesia. One moment I'm lying in the chair with an IV and the doctor is about to start the anesthetic ... next thing I remember, they are done and they are telling me that I can go home.
There was no pain and they did not need to cut my face.
